HAPPY ENGINEERS DAY
Mostly every student who has recently completed their intermediate education were having a buzz in their minds that what to choose for further education process and moreover parents were cautions to lay route for their dreams, let me give some information and experience which I have gone through this period of choosing branches in B.Tech
Firstly there were some main branches which most number of students will choose as their career paths in engineering, they are
1.COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING
2.ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
3.MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
4.CIVIL ENGINEERING
5.ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
These are some of the main branches mostly choose by students in B.tech, Actually, there is a myth that most of the students thought that more number of students will choose computer science engineering(CSE) but as coming to the reality most of the students choose mechanical engineering(ME) rather than CSE
According to the official board report named as MHRD's AISHE report was disclosed some figures with enrollments happening in every year
Mechanical engineering -8.8 lakh
Computer science engineering -8.3 lakh
Electronics engineering -6.5 lakh
Civil engineering -5.9 lakh
Electrical engineering -4.2 lakh
By the above figures, we can conclude the reality of no.of intakes every year. let us discuss every branch with key points in it with detail
COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING
This branch mainly deals with coding, programming subjects known as C, C++, Java, Python, and HTML, also some various programming subjects. students who were interested and passionate about computer-related subjects and looking for their further future in IT jobs they can choose with this branch and format would very interesting they can learn many programming languages which would use for placement purposes and also makes them special when placements or interviews were attended by them.
Also, I would like to give you a point regarding that the students who will choose CSE would be preferred in IT jobs and CTC (cost to company) offered by them is a minimum package of 4lpa.
ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
CIVIL ENGINEERING
As the name of the branch defines, it deals with structures and constructions as the main lead of it.in this branch we have main subjects like the strength of materials, fluid mechanics, engineering mechanics, and also mainly as reinforced structures, etc. students who have a passion for constructions or planning can choose this branch or kept their first priority, they can gain knowledge on how construction would be planned and designed, moreover who were interested in structures they will have a special way in career because every construction the designer should be needed. Another point I would like to include by seeing the above figures we can conclude that civil engineering is not so easy because it deals with the creative field without creative knowledge we can't survive in this path. Comming to the future they have opportunities in the government sector and private sector
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Being frankly by considering the intake figures we can come to know that it was the branch in which no of students can choose this branch is partially less, keeping aside these things it mainly introduces with basics of electrical engineering, electrical machines, power, and energy distribution, and troubleshooting appliances, to understand in a simple way it deals with electrical education we can see real terms in our world like transformers, solar plants and many, students who have a little bit of eagerness in finding new things and also, as usual, it also one of creative field and moreover should participate in projects, science fairs to showcase their ability and capability, coming to the future career they can more percentage scope in the government sector than other streams of engineering
So these are detailed information which I have collected and grab according to my knowledge which will help students who are looking for a future, to select branches in engineering
